Here is a recipe for mushroom tapas. Eat them in a park to celebrate your victory over youth.<br /><br /><b>The Stuff</b><br /><br />2 Tablespoons olive oil<br />3 Cloves garlic, minced<br />1.5 Tablespoons flour<br />1 Cup vegetable broth<br /> Dash red pepper flakes<br />2 Tablespoons parsley, minced<br />2½ Teaspoon fresh lemon juice<br />¾ Pound white button mushrooms<br /><br /><b>How to Combine The Stuff</b><br />1 ) Sauté the garlic in 1 tablespoon olive oil.<br /><br />2) Remove from heat and stir in the flour. Return to heat and cook over low for 2 minutes until a smooth paste forms.<br /><br />3) Slowly add broth, red pepper flakes, parsley and lemon juice.<br /><br />4) In a separate sauté pan add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and mushrooms. Cook until browned. They are a thumb-piano orchestra with lots of trashy percussion and party-time chanting. They made the pickups in the thumb pianos from pieces of car alternators hammered flat and wrapped in wire, and some of the microphones are actually built into hollowed lengths of tree branches. In short, this is the most punk-rock band ever.
